Shreveport Bar Foundation Founding Fellows

The Shreveport Bar Foundation is the tax exempt body that supports the charitable activities of the Shreveport Bar Association. Since its inception, the Foundation has built a Habitat House, outfitted the therapy room at the LSUHSC Children’s Center and provided support to the Gingerbread House for abused children, the Rescue Mission, the Shriner’s Hospital for Children’s library and other worthy causes. The Foundation has also provided critical funding to the Volunteers for Youth Justice, which runs CASA, Teen Court and other support programs for at-risk children and families involved with the Juvenile Court system. A goal of the Foundation is to make visible to our community some of the many good deeds performed daily by lawyers, and to seek out projects that bring lawyers together in a cooperative spirit while serving others.
